Love triangle	Hmm, good points. I'm not going to hook up with the guy. I'm more of a relationship person than a casual sex person anyway. I haven't spoken to them since Monday night actually. And I got pretty pissed with them then. They got back together and have given me the cold shoulder. Doesn't bother me too much coz I need to distance myself from their probs. But they spent all weekend ringing me and hasseling me and then completely ignored me Monday. It was kind of rude. I dont understand why my friends (and complete randoms at the pub) pour their hearts out to me once they know I'm a psych student. Bloke Dramas	I know it sounds like an arrogant way of dealing with relationships but my philosophy is that if someone doesn't show an immediate interest in you or plays cat-and-mouse or you have to get yourself noticed then it isn't a relationship worth being in. If this guy doesn't realise you for who you are then don't waste a thought on him no matter how hot he might be. It's a two-sided sword but when people see someone they really want they show it in some way immediately, it's the best indication of how the relationship will be. Pregnant?	I was just wondering how on earth y ou could think you were pregnant when you take the pill religously, use condoms and rarely have sex..... FOr starters it would have to be the right time of month, your condom needs to fail and the pill needs to fail AND you did a pregnancy test which was negative. Holidays... Yay!	Hello, havent really talked to anyone about this though members of my family and afew close friends know about this problem. I am bolemic, I have been for about 2 years now. I am a fairly intelligent guy, I knew when I started this that there could be complications. Well recently I have discovered I have lost total control over it. I havent had control for along time now. When I first began I could eat a meal and keep it down if i really wanted to, But now I can barely go 5 minutes after eating anything and not wanting to go purge it. The problem is getting pretty serious now. I sit down to eat and in order to feel full now I have to eat so much, today for lunch I had 3 boxes of mac and cheese with a package of hotdogs. While I have never gone to a therapist for this particular problem I have gone to several for other issues. I am not crazy but I have ADD and my parents when i was young felt that going to a therapist was the answer. Sadly it was not. I am not sure if its the ADD or if I am just to much in my own head but talking has never really helped me through anything. When I started throwing up I set a goal of reaching 200 pounds, i now weigh between 150 - 160. I would like to stop but if I even try to keep a meal down I get so nervous and elf conscious that I have no choice but to do it. I have no hope that you can help but my mind that i rely on to solve my problems is poisoned against me in this case now and I seem incapable of solving it becuase of this... Eating habits	many members of my family have become complete vegetarians (absolute no animal products at all) starting between the ages of 8 and 11. none of them are having any problems (and no supplements) and even i have been a vegetarian since 10 (i'm 19 now). no one in my family has had problems. i think you just have to make sure you get enough food from what you can eat. that's what my family does. it's fine AS LONG AS YOU GET THE FOOD REQUIREMENTS YOU NEED. Poppycock	i'm such an oddball kid. i am 16 and i am lots of odd things. first, i am one of the shortest in my class (only 2 are shorter than me of my class of 47) second, i am a vegetarian (i don't eat red meat, seafood, or eggs) third, i am left handed. forth, i wear braces. now, with all those things, people tease me all the time and i only have less than 5 friends but aren't stable at all. what do i do? i just started the new school term and everyone was joking, teasing me, etc... the teachers know it and tell the others to stop but they won't stop and say the teacher doesn't know anything. what else can i do? should i change schools or not? but what if the studens in another school do the same thing or even worse? but even with all that, i do very good in school and just the last term, i got 5 A's and 2 B's. Pregnant Virgins.	hi sarah. i was looking at your other diary and am glad you like some difficult challenges. my problem has been going on for ages. actually i have two problems one has to do with lust which i seem to feel much more than most. i wish there was some way to reduce the amount of lust i feel the other problem is that people seem to see me as funny and seldom talk to me directly yet they seem to point at me and whisper and laugh and I find this form of behaviour quite tormenting. there are various reasons why they do this but i just torment myself thinking through all the reasons and then i just give up. i wish i could ignore them as my life would be happier because i am all the time engaged in doing the things i like - mostly reading as i'm interested in literature and the visual arts but am a bit of a loner. i don't mind being a loner but feel i am a tormented loner because the only way others will relate to me is by pointing at me and whispering to each other. i can hardly go anywhere now because of the pain that this causes me. i know it's easy to say that i am paranoid but my problem is definitely not paranoia. a day comes rarely when no one points at me and whispers or laughs and i feel that it has been a good day on which i have recoved a little bit of my dignity but it never lasts for more than one day. if i could find an appropriate way of reacting to put a stop to it that would be great or if i could find a way to be unaffected by it that would be as good [poppycock]	2004-08-16 05:42:51

My mom can’t tolerate heat either, but before I went on this medication, I had no problem with heat. The meds have other side effects, but the main one I’ve noticed is the heat intolerance. I’ve said no to the increase in medication, but she still persists. My husband says that she’s not all that good. He has/had clinical depression and has quit the meds she prescribed to him. Right now, he’s feeling OK. If he’s to go back on medication, he wants to try something different, because he doesn’t like the side effects the previous meds had. But, the psychiatric nurse doesn’t think the medication is to blame, even though he tested what he was like on and off the meds. We have a psychiatric nurse that doesn’t think the medication she prescribes is to blame with some of the side effects we’ve experienced. Lucky for my husband, he can go off his medication, as his problem is not permanent. I, on the other hand, am told that my mental illness is for life (even though I went a decade without therapy and medication). OK…long drawn out comment. The questions are… How can you say no to this person and have her respect your choice? How can you talk to her and show her where she’s wrong (when she thinks she’s right, she’s a psychiatric nurse after all, and we’re her lowly patients)?
